I love wine, don’t get me wrong, but do you ever get that COCKTAIL craving?

Like all you want is a cocktail?

I’m sure I’m not the only one.

The thing is that I like cocktails to be really good. And many times, let’s face it, they aren’t.

Inevitably, you’ll be blown away by the stunning sight of the remaining Temple of Hadrian.  And if you’re having your drinks inside, you’ll feel like you’ve been time traveling.

The dimmed lights, the cool vibes floating in the air, the elegant sofas and plush armchairs and the trendy yet intimate atmosphere will immediately wrap you up.

For happy hour, no need for a reservation. But I wouldn’t push your luck for an after dinner drink, so make a reservation!

I went for a Passion Lavender and my friend Claudia ordered the Lady Brumble. I have to admit that although mine was delicious, her’s was even better (and of course I ended up ordering one of those)!

For happy hour, they serve you a small platter with rustic cake, panzanella, caponata and other finger food, but you can also serve yourself from the happy hour buffet!

While if one of the group members feels like some wine, no worries, there is plenty that you can choose from! Don’t forget a reservation for a late night after-dinner!

P.S. Salotto 42 is part of the World’s Best Bars and they also have bars in Capri, Copenhagen and Spoleto!
