Getting married in the Eternal City is everyone’s dream. From ancient palazzos to fairytale villas and castles, there are so many breathtaking wedding locations in Rome. I’ve made a selection of some of my favorites, but there are many other magical venues for your destination wedding in Rome. Castello di TorCrescenza

This 11th century castle is the it-place for a fairytale wedding in Rome. Located in northern Rome, Castello di TorCrescenza is one of the favorite wedding locations to say “I do”. Ivy-clad walls, beautiful green spaces, ancient fountains and sumptuous frescoed interiors. What more could you want? The castle is owned by an ancient noble family and ticks all the boxes for your luxurious wedding reception in Rome.
La Posta Vecchia

If you’re on the hunt for a seaside wedding just one hour from Rome, this ancient Roman villa by the sea is your ideal wedding location. Located in Rome, in between via Aurelia and Via Boccea, it boasts spacious indoor and outdoor areas ideal for any kind of wedding. On the grounds you’ll find four interior areas and 8 hectares of green spaces including a lake and Italian-style gardens. Inaugurated in 1938 by King Victor Emmanuel III, this villa has been the location of many noble weddings.
Borgo della Merluzza

Immersed in the Roman countryside, just 20 minutes from Rome you’ll find this ancient borgo or hamlet, which used to be the hunting lodge of the Odescalchi princes. As soon as you go through the doors of Borgo della Merluzza, you’ll be catapulted into a completely different setting. A medieval tower, 20 hectares of beautiful outdoor spaces including a pool, vast gardens and an amphitheater await you! And inside you’ll find various rooms for your reception. Borgo della Merluzza is a dream come true.
Villa Dino

In the heart of the Ancient Appian Park, one of the most important archeological parks worldwide, you’ll find the charming Villa Dino. You will be impressed by the grandiose outdoor space, immense gardens enriched by palm trees, olive groves and lemon trees. Not to mention the wonderful outdoor pool that definitely adds to the atmosphere. Inside, you’ll find cozy areas with floor-to-ceiling windows and views of the park.
