The best bars near Piazza Navona in Rome

I don’t want to say love at first sight, but you know that feeling you get when you step into a place and instantly fall in love? That’s how I felt with Etabli wine and cocktail bar!

A stone’s throw away from Rome’s Chiostro del Bramante and Piazza Navona, you’ll find this super cute shabby-chic bar! It’s also a restaurant (and the food looks amazing, especially those cold-cuts and cheese platters). But since I haven’t tried the food at Etablì yet, let me tell you what I do know about!

Which is of course, the BAR!

Etabli is, like I said before, a shabby-chic wine and cocktail bar. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed and trendy. And the dimmed lights and general decor with plush armchairs and wooden tables creates the perfect setting.

Oh, and there’s a super cool L-shaped bar where bartenders are mixing and shaking cocktails that definitely sets the tone!

There’s also a DJ that plays music ranging from jazz and American oldies all the way to contemporary music. At times there are also live music performances! So get ready to stomp your feet (but not too much, it’s not a club people)!

The cocktails and the wine selection at Etabli? Really good. I think it’s THE perfect place for an after-dinner drink with your friends in the center of Rome (or a birthday celebration too)! Which is exactly how I came to know about Etabli, it was my friend Vincy’s birthday (she has an eye for spotting cool places)!

We had so much fun, the atmosphere was great and I just can’t wait to go back for lunch, dinner, happy hour and drinks! I think it’s one of the best bars in the center of Rome, it definitely has a great vibe and the service is nice and friendly. Okay, I have to say that it was easier to just say “love at first sight” after all!

Just a heads up, if you’re going for dinner make a reservation (especially on the weekend). If you’re going for drinks, make a reservation as well (I saw lots of people waiting in line for a table)!
